Creativa 2020

Je zult wel denken. Huh. Al dit soort grote evenementen gingen toch niet door door corona? Nou, de Creativa in Dortmund vindt wel plaats, en wel deze hele week nog tot en met zondag. Eigenlijk zou de creativa in Maart zijn, maar werd toen verplaatst vanwege corona. En daarna nog een keer geloof ik. Last minute besloten mijn moeder en ik toch te gaan, want we hadden toch al kaartjes. We vertrokken ontzettend vroeg in de richting van Dortmund. We kwamen aan rond kwart voor 9 en stonden toen nog even in de rij te wachten tot het open ging. Wat was het rustig!!!! Niet normaal eigenlijk. De hele beurs was ruimer opgezet om aan de 1,5meter afstand te kunnen garanderen. Er liepen echt zo weinig mensen. Het was hier op deze creatieve beurs rustiger als in het gemiddelde winkelcentrum. Heerlijk voor ons als bezoekers, maar ohhh die arme standhouders. Ik had echt met ze te doen. 

Ik ben wel heel goed geslaagd op de beurs, zoals ik hier beneden zal laten zien.

You might thing. Huh. I thought all these events won't happen because of COVID19. Well, the Creativa in Dortmund is there, till this weekend. The Creativa would happen in March when covid19 made them push this event back, twice I think. Last minute my mom and I decided to go anyway now, we already had our tickets. We left really early and arrived in Dortmund at 8.45. It was so quiet. There was more space between the stands to guarantee the 1,5 meter space. It was so quiet in the halls. Not normal. I quite enjoyed the quietness but such a pity for those stands. 

I really bought some lovely things, I'll show you here down below.

Deze foto maakte ik s'middags om 13 uur, toen we terugkwamen bij de auto. De hele parkeerplaats was gewoon leeg. Normaal stond deze al helemaal vol. 

This photo was taking at 1 'o clock, when we got back to the car. The whole parkingspace was empty. Normally it's completely full.

Vorige jaren keek ik eigenlijk alleen maar naar garens en een beetje home deco en accessoires. Dit jaar had ik natuurlijk wat nieuws om naar te kijken. Namelijk het maken van kaarten, papier en stempelen. En wat staat er ontzettend veel op dat gebied. Wauw, stempelen is helemaal in. Er stond zelfs een stand met stempels uit Zweden. Like, wauw. Zulke leuke stempels en voor een super leuke prijs, hou ik van. Ik kocht ook een stel duurdere stempels en ga mij nu ook eens verdiepen in embossen met een heating tool. Dat zag er zo gaaf uit hoe de standhoudster het voordeed. Verder nog gave stiften, stansen, meer stempels, 3 bollen wol, lijm en inkt gekocht. Zoals je hierboven ook kunt zien hihi. Voorlopig mag er niks meer bij, maar wanneer zeg ik (en alle anderen met een hobby) dat nou niet haha. 

Let wel, er was veeeel minder op het gebied van garen en haken enzo. Best raar eigenlijk.

Previous years I only looked at yarn and home deco. This year I really wanted to look at card making, stamping etc. Oh man I wasn't disappointed. Stamping is hot. There was even a stand all the way from Sweden. Wow. Loved those stamps. I also bought some more and I'm really going to look into embossing with a heating tool, it looked so amazing. I also bought more stamps, yarn, ink etc. You can see all the things I bought in the above photos. I really can't buy more stuff for a while. hahaha. Till I something else I really want. Which crafter doesn't say that. 

But, There's far less on yarny and crochet things this year. Quite weird.

Handwerkbeurs 2020

Gisteren was het weer zover. Het jaarlijkse uitje naar de handwerkbeurs van mij en mijn moeder. Ik ben al tijden van tevoren helemaal enthousiast. Zoveel leuks om te bekijken, nieuwe inspiratie. Ik word er vrolijk van. Weer super leuke gesprekken gehad en mooie aankopen gedaan.

Yesterday was the day. My mom and I visited the Handwerkbeurs. Every year we go there. I believe this was our 7th time. I'm always excited like a kid for Chirstmas. I love seeing new things, new inspiration. It's really my happy place. Had some nice conversations and some nice purchases this time.

Deze beste meneer heeft allemaal spullen voor kaarten maken en scrapbooken, hij was een beetje verbaasd want eigenlijk bestaat de handwerkbeurs alleen uit wol, stof etc. Ik gooide mijn mandje vol met allemaal leuke dingen en kan niet wachten om deze uit te gaan proberen. Ga zeker even langs bij Carole's craft.

This nice Englishman had all kinds of products for card making and scrapbooking, I was surprised that there were no other stand with this stuff and it was only yarn, fabric etc. I bought some really nice things and can't wait to try it. Do pay a visit to Carole's craft.

Ik keek bij de mooie handgeverfde wolletjes van Atelier 't Wolbeest toen mijn moeder de afprijzingsbakken zag. Oei. Ik begon met rommelen door die mooie wolletjes en nam er uiteindelijk 12 (!) mee. Oei, ik mag echt voorlopig niks meer kopen (op de creativa in Maart na dan hihi)

I was looking at the beautiful handdyed yarn from Atelier 't Wolbeest when my mom spotted the yarn which was on sale. Ouch. I started looking through the lovely yarn and took 12 (!) home with me. Ouch. I'm not allowed to buy any more yarn (except for the Creativa in March hihi).

Mijn aankopen bij de aardige Engelsman. Hij staat ook op de Creativa in Dortmund. Kan ik mij vast goed voorbereiden hihi.

Grey kwam direct kijken. Een beetje te dicht bij mijn mooie garen haha. Maar ze gedroeg zich voorbeeldig (omdat ik erbij stond denk ik).

knit & knot beurs 2018

Vandaag waren mijn moeder en ik al vroeg op pad. We gingen naar Tilburg, naar de Knit & knot beurs. Via instagram won ik bij Dutch wool diva 2 kaartjes voor de beurs, geweldig. 
Een hele gezellige beurs was het. Mijn moeder kocht garen en patroon voor sokken bij Jeanet van blij dat ik brei en ik kocht ook voor een paar projecten garen. 
Na de beurs gingen we even naar Textielstad. Mijn moeder wilde er al lang naartoe, maar Tilburg is best ver. Maar wat een stof. Wauw, alles was er te vinden. Ik kocht zelf de flower loom van clover, voor bij het boek dat ik kreeg voor mijn verjaardag. 
Op de terugweg kwamen we langs Vught, waar we even een tussenstop maakten om aardbeien te kopen. Er was een automaat. Geweldig. De aardbeien zijn ontzettend lekker.

Today my mom and I were on the road early. We went to Tilburg, to the knit&knot exhibition. Through Instagram I won tickets by Dutch wool diva, amazing.
The exhibition was really nice. My mom bought yarn to knit socks and I bought yarn for a few projects.
After the exhibition we went to Textielstad. My mom wanted to go there for quite some time, but Tilburg is far away. But it was worth it to go. What a fabric. Wow, anything you could be looking for. I bought a flower loom from clover, to go with the book I got for my birthday.
On our way home we passed Vught, where we stopped to buy strawberries.

Creativa Dortmund 2018 verslag

Zoals ik eergisteren al aankondigde, ging ik gisteren met mijn moeder naar de Creativa. Super enthousiast was ik, want ik mocht als blogger naar binnen. Hoe leuk is dat. De wekker ging gisteren om 6.30 en we zaten om 7 uur in de auto. Gelukkig hadden we bijna geen file en was het goed 9 uur toen we de parkeerplaats opreden.
We hadden van tevoren de plattegrond bekeken en besloten om te beginnen met hal 4. Daarna gingen we door naar hal 7 en hal 6. Hal 5 en 8 sloegen we over. Ik kan je vertellen, alles op het gebied van hobby's is er te vinden op de Creativa in Dortmund. Haken, breien, bakken, scrapbooken, kaarten, nailart, stof, patchwork. ALLES! Daarnaast waren er stands met home deco, kleding, sieraden, tassen, schoenen. Er waren stands uit Duitsland, Nederland, Spanje, Verenigd Koninkrijk, Griekenland, Hongarije etc. En nu laat ik de foto's die ik maakte, voor zichzelf spreken.

Like I told you guys the day before yesterday, I went to the Creativa with my mom. I was really excited, because I got to go inside as a blogger. How fun is that. The alarm was set for 6.30AM and we sat in the car at 7AM. There wasn't a lot of traffic so we arrived in Dortmund around 9AM.
We looked up the map of the exhibition and we dicided to start in hall 4. After we went to hall 6 and 7. We skipped hall 5 and 8. I can tell you, there is everything you can find on crafting. Crochet, knitting, baking, scrapbooking, cards, nailart, fabric, patchwork. EVERYTHING! There were also stands with home deco, clothes, bags, jewelery, shoes etc. There were stands from Germany, The Netherlands, Spain, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary etc. And now I will let the pictures speak for itself!
