Fire Lily Cowl

Toen ik voorbij zag komen dat de Fire Lily cowl op het blog Yokie B zou verschijnen. Was ik direct enthousiast. Die wilde ik al zo lang haken. Zo'n leuke col met ontzettend veel textuur. Ik koos voor een restant Hema Super bulky die ik overhield van mijn butterscotch tassel scarf. In 1 avond haakte ik deze col. Heerlijk hoe snel dit ging. Ik gebruikte haaknaald 10 mm en gebruikte in totaal 212 gram van de Hema super bulky. Grey besloot mij te helpen door op mijn patroon te gaan liggen. Erg handig haha. 

When I saw the Fire Lily cowl  pattern would appear on the Yokie B blog, I wanted to make it. I had seen it on Instagram many times so now I could start it. The cowl is really nice with lots of texture. I chose some leftover Hema super bulky which I also used on my butterscotch tassel scarf. I made this cowl in 1 evening. Really liked how fast it was. I used a 10 mm hook and just 212 grams of the Hema super bulky. Grey decided to help me by lying on my pattern. Super helpfull uhum. hahaha.

Hahaha. Deze vond ik zo geniaal. 'Als je maar strak vooruit kijk ga ik niet aan de draad zitten, Ik kan dit'. 

Hahaha. I thought this photo was such a good one. 'If I used keep staring straight forward, I won't touch the yarn, I can do this'. 

Ik maakte ook direct deze, past kwa kleur niet bij de col maar werd er wel heel blij van. De bloemen tekende ik na van een foto van een echte Fire Lily. 

I also made this one, it doesn't fit with the cowl colorwise but I really like it. I drew the flowers from a fire lily in a photo.

Bourgondisch sjaaltje

Al in de meivakantie haakte ik dit sjaaltje. Om de een of andere reden heb ik hem nog niet laten zien hier. Ik probeer een beetje een inhaalslag te doen hier op mijn blog, hopelijk gaat dat lukken. Even terug naar het project. Het patroon: Bourgondisch sjaaltje uit het boek Meer kant haken. Ik gebruikte 1 streng Basic sock garen van Wol met verve. 

De foto's maakte ik in Verona, en terug bij ons huisje. 

I finished this project when I was on vacation in Italy in May. For some reason I haven't showed it on the blog yet. I'm trying to get my blog up to date with my projects a little bit. Hopefully it will work. Okay, back to the project. The pattern: Bourgondisch sjaalje from the book Meer kant haken. I used 1 skein of basic sock yarn from Wol met verve.

Complications CAL week 8

Eindelijk is week 8 van mijn Complications CAL af. Het patroon kostte behoorlijk wat tijd. Maar het resultaat mag er zijn. Het mozaïek patroon vind ik ontzettend gaaf en de techniek was al eens voorbij gekomen eerder in de deken. 

Finally I finished week 8 of my Complications CAL. It took me quite some time to finish it, the technique takes a lot of time. I really really like the result. The mosaic pattern is amazing and the technique was used before in the blanket.

Katten en gehaakte dingen, Browny kon niet wachten om op de deken te springen.

Cats and crochet. Browny couldn't wait to jump on the blanket.

weekend

Allereerst dankjewel voor alle leuke reacties op mijn vorige post met vakantiefoto's. Jullie hadden nog van mij te goed wat ik allemaal kocht op vakantie haha. Ik maak er direct een weekendpost van want ik ben dit weekend naar 2 fairs geweest. De winterfair in Hardenberg (en direct naar de wolhal daar) en naar Winterträume in Havixbeck, Duitsland, waar we net van terug zijn. Ik werkte ook nog een paar uur om ziekte op te lossen en maakte week 8 van mijn Complications CAL af (volgende keer zal ik het laten zien). 

First of all thank you for your sweet comments to my last post. I still had to show you my purchases from this holiday. I just made it into a weekendpost because I went to 2 fairs this weekend. the Winterfair in Hardenberg and Winterträume in Havixbeck, Germany, we just came back from it. I also worked a couple of hours due to a sick co-worker and finished week 8 of my Complications CAL (next time I'll show you). 

Deze kocht ik bij het tuincentrum in Bussolengo.

I bought these at the gardencenter in Bussolengo.

De voorste tas kreeg ik cadeau. De andere kocht ik op een andere markt.

I got the brown bag as a present. The other one I bought at a different market.

Deze kerstsokken kocht ik voor mij en mijn moeder.

I bought these Christmas socks for me and my mom.

We gingen ook nog naar de wolhal in Hardenberg. Daar kocht ik garen voor een leuke deken, een muts en rest garen. 

We also went to the yarnhall in Hardenbergh. I bought yarn for a blanket, a hat and some leftover yarn.

Zondag: Winterträume Havixbeck.
