Diamond stitch kussen // Diamond stitch pillow

Het lijkt wel een eeuwigheid geleden dat ik deze kussens maakte. Een vriendin van mij is sinds september op kamers en ik wilde haar verrassen met een zelfgemaakt cadeau. Ik had nog basic kussentjes liggen en besloot om haar 2 kussens te gaan haken. De kocht bollen Julia garen van de zeeman in de kleur die zij mooi vond (stiekem even gepolst haha). 

Het patroon wat ik gebruikt heb is die van wolplein van de droomdeken. Ik paste het patroon zo aan dat het passend was voor het kussen. Ik haakte de voor en achterkant aan elkaar met de krabsteek. 

Ze was er super blij mee gelukkig en de kussen liggen nu te prijken op haar bank.

It seems like forever since I made these pillows. A dear friend of mine got her own place and I wanted to surprise her with a handmade gift. I had some basic pillows and decided to make her 2 pillows. I bought some balls Julia yarn from the zeeman in a colour she liked. 

The pattern I used is from the 'droomdeken' from wolplein. I addapted the pattern to fit the pillow. I crocheted the front and back together with the crabstitch.

She was really happy and the pillows are shining on her couch.

Gehaakte cadeau's // crocheted presents

Ik haakte de afgelopen tijd ook een aantal cadeautjes. Een winters setje voor een klein meisje en 2 poncho's voor de kleindochters van de boer en boerin waar we altijd naartoe gaan in Italië. 
I made a few gifts in the past couple of months. First was a winter set for a little girl and 2 ponchos for the little girls in the family we always go to in Italy.

in je nopjes omslagdoek

De 'in je nopjes' omslagdoek van Nienke van Mooi van draad stond al heel lang op mijn haaklijstje. Toen ik een keer bij de zeeman liep, nam ik 3 bollen mintgroene Julia garen mee. Julia is heerlijk zacht garen en in allemaal zachte tinten. Met deze bollen ging ik aan de slag met het 'in je nopjes' patroon, die ik Hier bestelde. 

The 'in je nopjes' shawl from Nienke from the blog Mooi van draad was on my crochet to do list for quite some time. And then, when I walked past the yarn in the Zeeman, I bought 3 balls of mint green Julia yarn. Julia a really soft yarn in soft colours. And I used this yarn to work on the 'in je nopjes' pattern, which I bought Here.

Ik moet zeggen, wat een heerlijk patroon om te haken. Lekker dik garen dus je bent snel een eind op weg. Ik had 3 bollen, maar helaas kwam ik er achter dat ik nog een bol nodig had. En dat was ook nog eens op een zaterdagavond dus kon ik hem niet afmaken en moest ik wachten tot ik maandag naar de zeeman kon. Maar het is gelukt en nu kan ik het eindresultaat laten zien.

And I have to say, it's a great pattern to work with. The quite chunky yarn works quick and in no time you have a crochetwork which already looks like a shawl. I bought 3 balls, but unfortunately I didn't have enought. And it was a Saturdaynight so I had to put it on the shelf and wait untill Monday so I could go to the Zeemand and buy another ball of yarn. But eventually I finished the shawl and can now show you the endresult.

Af en toe dan zit Borre of Floortje graag bij mij op tafel, dan leg ik een tas neer en kunnen ze lekker gaan liggen.

So now and then, Borre or Floortje likes to sit on my table, so I put a bag on it and they can rest themself.

Gisteren in ik van stage terug kwam, scheen de zon lekker. Dus maakte ik snel een aantal foto's.

And yesterday when I returned from my internship, the sun was shining. So I took a few pictures.

Borre kijkt zo raar omdat hij net ging niezen. Dat heb ik net even mooi vastgelegd. Gek beest.

Borre his look is so weird because he's about to sneeze. Good timing with this picture.
